The Yotes Court Pinot Blanc vines are growing at 140m above sea level in one of the highest vineyard blocks in the country. Planted in sandy soil in a former apricot orchard these 5-year-old vines have now produced their second harvest. This well rounded dry wine has aromas of pear with floral notes of lilac, jasmine and a hint of toastiness from a short time in oak. The palate is smooth, full and long lived.  The name of the wine 'Hands and Heels' refers to when a jockey rides a horse in a race using just hands and heels, allowing the horse to use its natural ability and fitness to outshine the other horses needing only very gentle persuasion.
