My grown up version of the pixie hat is an elegant and mysterious hood.  This one is in a dark red, but you can custom order any color you like.  I have added red marbled beads at each of the tassels.  I was inspired by Lord of the Rings.

Wool has been worn for centuries for its thermal properties. It breathes but keeps you exceptionally warm. Wool can be worn in mist, fog and light rain, absorbing up to 40% of its own weight while keeping the wearer warm. 

All of my wool hats will stay nice for years with this care: Wash once at the end of the cold season with shampoo and conditioner. Rinse, squeeze out the water, roll in a towel and press the remaining dampness out. Dry flat, store in a plastic bag in the season for spring and summer.
