Noticing the atmosphere and reflections after a light rain. My paintings honor nature and share the beauty of what I see and feel when I’m in it. I create atmospheric landscapes paintings, focusing on the affects of light and color but what I really think they are about is conveying the emotional response of being in a moment. Everywhere I go I see something that moves me and challenges me to capture that essence of place.
