This mid-century French impressionist painting features a serene coastal scene with a beautiful blue sky and windswept grasses framing the sea. The painting is signed in the lower left corner, however the artist is unknown. The frame is a whitewashed wood frame with texture. There is moderate impasto to the canvas, which we tried to capture in the images. 

Measures 41 5/8"W x 45 1/4"H x 2"D. Canvas is stretched on the frame and keys appear to be intact. Light surface wear to frame present, no major losses to canvas but the varnish does appear to have some yellowing.
